15 Mar The Only Reason to Leave New York is to Come Back
“The only reason one should ever leave New York City is to return again”
-I just made that up, but still.
It’s been a surprisingly relaxing weekend in Washington, and I had a really nice time. One never knows when you travel, especially alone. So many things can go wrong – clients can cancel, the hotel could be awful, the weather might suck. But I lucked out on this one. I got to meet up with some good friends, the hotel was completely lovely, and I will likely stay there again, and the weather was pretty much perfect for me. I’m not a big fan of sunshiny days with warm temps, so the Seattle-lite climate rocking DC right now was excellent.
A big thank you to the guys I got to see while I was in town – you know who you are. And a quick ‘sorry!’ to the handful of guys who got in touch after I was booked up. I will certainly be back soon enough, so hang tight, or come visit me in New York! An easy way to keep track of my comings and goings is my newsletter (which is due for a new edition shortly, talking about this blog and my new site). Still tryin to track this guy down though…
Back to life now, and more pre-Hookies work. If you’re going to be in NYC this Friday night, I’d love it if you came to join us! It’s at BPM on 42nd St at 9PM. You can still get tickets at theHookies.com (it’s super cheap).
Here’s my travel playlist for the ride back home. I love bossa nova and I don’t care what you think of that. Now for a very long, boring bus ride back to my home and my bed.
Thank you for a lovely time DC! <3
